Exploitation of the Internet’s capabilities continues to raise traditional as well as cutting edge legal issues in the areas of intellectual property and jurisdiction over litigating parties among other areas.

New media is a general term used to refer to certain recent technologies including, among others, artwork created by digital technology, local and global networks (i.e. the Internet and World Wide Web), computers, CD-ROMs, virtual reality technology, and digital and electronic entertainment technology. New media continues to raise new legal issues that pose interesting challenges to all going forward in the new technologies.
