In my practice, art business law is the legal representation of individuals and businesses, including, among others, painters, graphic artists, writers, photographers, filmmakers, and musicians, as well as art collectors, art consultants and food and wine professionals, who are working in the creative arts.
Those who create for a living need the time and space to do so. Whether it is the threat of litigation, a contract dispute, or an intellectual property question, legal issues need not always become legal problems. The goal is to understand the issues and to use the most efficient means of addressing them. The immense value of common sense should never be lost in the emotion and tangle of legal problem solving.
