Trademark

A trademark indicates, in the form of a name, word, symbol, slogan or other format, the name or source of a product. If a trademark is used in interstate commerce, the trademark may be registered with the United States Patent and Trademark Office. The value of a trademark is that it identifies your product and that you may be able to prevent the use of a similar mark if it causes confusion.

For information on trademarks, contact the United States Patent and Trademark Office at (708) 308-HELP or visit the USPTO website.
